<p>The invention relates to a spur gear for driving a gear ring on a work machine having the features of the preamble of Claim 1. A spur gear, in particular a bevel spur gear having one or more gear stages for driving a work machine (11), which is enclosed by a gear ring (10), comprises a gear housing (1), which receives the gear stages, and contains an adjustably movable pinion (9), which is situated on an output shaft (26) of an output stage, and engages with the gear ring (10). The gear housing (1) comprises a first stiff housing part (2) and a second rigid housing part (3). The first housing part (2) encloses the output stage having the output shaft (26) and the adjustably movable pinion (9) and has side walls (19), which project beyond the gear (1) and rest on the foundation (23). The second housing part (3) is fastened on a front side on the first housing part (2) without contact with the foundation (23).</p> |
