PREPARATION METHOD OF SINTERED POROUS PLATE USING SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL, AND THE SINTERED POROUS PLATE THEREBY

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of flake-shaped porous sintered material used nuclear fuel and flake-shaped porous sintered material manufactured accordingly are provided to enhance density of the flake-shaped porous sintered material at relatively low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of flake-shaped porous sintered material comprises the following steps: forming uranium oxide by heat treating the used nuclear fuel in the volatility oxidation device; and manufacturing uranium oxide into the flake-shaped porous sintered material under pressure in a plate shaped mold. In the first step, the uranium oxide includes U3O8 and UO2. The heat treating of the first step is processed at 350-800 deg. Celsius. The heat treating of the first step is processed under oxidizing condition. The manufacturing of the flake-shaped porous sintered material in the second step is processed by sintering the uranium oxide at 800-1300 deg. Celsius. The manufacturing of the flake-shaped porous sintered material in the second step is processed by pressing the uranium oxide at the pressure of 0.1-50MPa.
