The invention relates to drilling operations for exploiting the oil wells and to modernizing the already existing wells as well as to oil or gas production from the subsurface earth formation. A technical result achieved by the invention consists in increasing an efficiency and rapidity of producing the oil wells and modernizing the already existing wells, increasing their productivity. The apparatus for jet forming of a plurality of lateral passages extending from a wellbore comprises a first indexing mechanism fitting device, a cutting mechanism for cutting an opening and a lateral passage jet forming mechanism. A method for jet forming a plurality of lateral passages extending from a wellbore uses the abovementioned apparatus. A system for production of a material from a subsurface earth formation being intersected by a wellbore with the plurality of lateral passages comprises a plurality of lateral injection passages, a plurality of lateral production passages, three packers in the casing isolating in pairs an injection compartment and the production compartment, an injection conduit and a production conduit. A method for production of a material from a subsurface earth formation being intersected by a wellbore with the plurality of lateral passages uses the abovementioned system.
