PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display driving control device and a portable terminal system are provided to easily control a liquid crystal driving control device and peripheral devices by reducing the number of interface signal lines between a host device and the liquid crystal driving control device. CONSTITUTION: A host interface circuit(20) includes a serial interface circuit and a parallel interface circuit. A driving circuit(21) generates a driving signal for a liquid crystal display(11). An output port(22) is connected to a sub liquid crystal display driving control device(12). The output port outputs a signal to control the sub liquid crystal driving control device. The parallel interface circuit is connected to the sub liquid crystal driving control device. The parallel interface circuit transmits data or command to the sub liquid crystal display driving control device.
