<p>This electronic apparatus has: a touch panel which, when touch operations are performed in which one or a plurality of indicating means is made to come into tactile contact with, or is made to approach, outputs touch information indicating the positions of the tactile contact points with which the one or the plurality of indicating means have come into tactile contact with or have approached; a storage unit which stores, as authentication-use data, the number of tactile contact points in the touch operations which have been indicated by the touch information; and an authentication unit which, upon receiving the touch information after request of user authentication, performs the user authentication on the basis of a comparison of the number of the tactile contact points that have been indicated by the touch information and the authentication-use data stored in the storage unit.</p> |
