A control apparatus (100) for a gas engine (1) is provided with: a water injection means (14) for injecting water into a cylinder (4) of the gas engine (1); a water injection control means (56) for controlling the water injection means (14); and a knocking incidence rate measurement means (45) for measuring a measurement value (RM) of a knocking incidence rate in the cylinder (4). The water injection control means (56) controls the water injection means (14) such that the amount of water injected into the cylinder (4) is set on the basis of a deviation between the measurement value (RM) and a target value (RT).
