ORTHOSIS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

An orthosis includes a belt assembly, an energy storage apparatus, and an articulatable leg frame. The belt assembly is configured to be secured to a user's body. The energy storage apparatus is coupled to the belt assembly and includes a pretension adjustment device and an exotendon. The articulatable leg frame is coupleable to the belt assembly. The energy storage apparatus helps move the user's leg which is coupled to the leg frame.
