<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the flow rate of air circulating in a plurality of branched pipes, in an intake manifold for an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: An intake manifold 10 includes a plurality of first to fourth branch pipes 12, 14, 16, 18, a surge tank 20 to which one end of each of the first to fourth branch pipes 12, 14, 16, 18 is connected, an intake connection part 22 provided on one end along the longitudinal direction of the surge tank 20, a resonance chamber 24 provided in parallel with the surge tank 20, and a communication passage 36 for communicating the surge tank 20 with the resonance chamber 24. The opening part 36a of the communication passage 36 is connected to the vicinity of the first branch pipe 12 which is most close to the intake connection part 22 side among the first to fourth branch pipes 12, 14, 16, 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
