<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal print head of high reliability and high quality suppressing the occurrence of a print scratch. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal head 10 of high reliability and high quality suppressing the occurrence of the print scratch includes: a support substrate 22; a heating part 23b disposed on a main surface of an insulating plate; an electrode 23a with one end connected to the heating part 23 and with the other end located on the rear face, opposite to the main surface, of the support substrate 22; a substrate part 40 disposed facing the bottom face of the support substrate 22, with a wire-bonded connecting line 41 disposed in a position to face the electrode 28a extended to the bottom face of the support substrate 22; and a driver IC 42 disposed on the substrate part 40 and connected to the connecting line 41 by wire bonding to control driving of the heating part 23b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
