REAR WHEEL TOE ANGLE CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain straight-running stability of a vehicle even when deviation occurs in cornering forces of right and left rear wheels in a rear wheel toe angle control device which individually controls the right and left wheel toe angles.

SOLUTION: A rear wheel toe angle control device 10 is provided with an ECU 12 which controls toe angles of right and left rear wheels 5 in toe-in or toe-out based on the acceleration of vehicle in a longitudinal direction and a rear wheel pneumatic sensor 13 for detecting cornering forces of the right and left rear wheels 5. The ECU 12 is configured such that if deviation of cornering power is detected at the right and left rear wheels 5 by a cornering power determination part 26, at least one target toe angle θt of the right and left rear wheels 5 is corrected by a target toe angle correction part 29 so as to reduce a cornering force correction amount (deviation) calculated by a cornering force correction amount calculation part 27.
