<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point light source optical system capable of generating fine light beams easily without using a diffraction optical element that requires advanced techniques and huge costs. <P>SOLUTION: A point light source optical system comprises: a light source 1, a collimator lens 2 for converting light emitted from the light source 1 into an approximately parallel light beam; a first diffraction mechanism 3 for diffracting the light beam passed through the collimator lens; a second diffraction mechanism 6 for diffracting the light beam passed through the first diffraction mechanism 3; a third diffraction mechanism 9 for diffracting the light beam passed through the second diffraction mechanism 6; and a fourth diffraction mechanism 12 for diffracting the light beam passed through the third diffraction mechanism 9. The first diffraction mechanism 3 to the fourth diffraction mechanism 12 include diffraction optical elements 5, 8, 11 and 13 for diffracting the incident light beams into a predetermined direction and light guide parts 4, 7, 10 and 14 for guiding the light beams diffracted by the diffraction optical elements 5, 8, 11 and 13 to a predetermined direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
