<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new diallyl halide useful as a raw material of monomers of polyamide resin and polyurethane resin, an intermediate of raw materials of medicine, pesticide, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing diallyl halides comprises a ring-opening cross metathesis reaction of the diallyl halide represented by general formula (1), 1,4-dihalogeno-2-butene and a cyclic olefin in the presence of a metathesis catalyst, wherein Xs are each independently a Cl, Br or I atom, n is an integer of 4-6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
