<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a release liner in which a releasable cured film is formed, which has excellent silicone curability and exhibits high adhesion to a substrate even when polylactic acid being one of biomass plastics is used as a material constituting the substrate and an ultraviolet-curable silicone-based release agent is used as a release agent. <P>SOLUTION: The release liner is characterized in that a release processing layer is arranged on at least one surface of the polylactic acid substrate across an undercoat layer. The amount of coating of the undercoat layer is, for example, 0.1-5 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>in terms of solid content. The polylactic acid substrate may contain a modifying agent. The release agent for forming the release processing layer may be the ultraviolet-curable silicone-based release agent.
