<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sufficient jointing strength and airtightness to an airtight container 30, in which first and second substrates 1, 2 are jointed with a jointing material defining a sealed space between the substrates 1 and 2, even when the jointing material is a fragile material such as glass frit. <P>SOLUTION: In this airtight container 30, second jointing materials 42 provided on both sides of a first jointing material 41 defining a sealed space between first and second substrates 1 and 2 are sandwiched between the substrates 1 and 2, and joint the substrates 1 and 2 together with the first jointing material 41. Also, height of the first jointing material 41 is higher than that of the second jointing materials 42. At least one of the substrates 1, 2 is elastically deformed and jointed by the first jointing material 41 and the second jointing materials 42, and therefore, a compressive force is applied in a height direction of the first jointing material 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
