PURPOSE: A modulator for a class D pulse width with a dual feedback is provided to prevent bimodal modulation by eliminating an output supply voltage from an integrator feedback path. CONSTITUTION: A first integrator(209) receives a first feedback signal from an input signal and an output stage. A second integrator(210) receives an output and a second feedback signal of the first integrator. Comparators(207,208) are combined with an adjusted supply voltage. The comparators receive an output and a modulated signal of the second integrator. The comparators provide a pulse width modulation representation of an input signal. The output stage is combined with a non-adjusted supply voltage. The second feedback signal includes a representation for outputs of the comparators. |
