<p>The dowel (1) has an anchor bolt (2) provided with a spreading body (3) at an end section (6) with a longitudinal axis (10). An engaging unit (20) is provided on the anchor bolt for load-bearing, and an expansion sleeve (4) surrounds the anchor bolt. The dowel exhibits an eccentric cam geometry such that the expansion sleeve is expanded around the longitudinal axis as a rotational axis (9) by rotational motion of the anchor bolt. The engaging unit comprises a screw thread (21), a washer (22) and a nut (23). An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a spreading dowel.</p> |
