PURPOSE: A gate cutting device for an injection mold is provided to smoothly form the cut face of a molded article as a slider, a return spring, and a stopper control the movement of a cutting pin. CONSTITUTION: A gate cutting device for an injection mold comprises a pair of movable molds(100), a fixed mold(200), a frame(300), and a cutting pin(400). The movable and fixed molds comprise runners(R) and cavities(C). The runner is formed at the facing sides of the molds, and a forming material moves at the runner. The forming material flows into the cavity, and is shaped into a molded article The frame is engaged in a recessed portion(210) at the side of the fixed mold facing the movable mold. The frame comprises a runner groove(311), a gate(320), and a pin insertion groove. The runner groove is formed on an exposed surface. The pin insertion groove is formed on one surface facing the cavity, and connects the cavity and the gate. The leading end of the cutting pin puts the forming material into the cavity when cutting pin moves forward. The cutting pin cuts the forming material with moving back.
