PURPOSE: A moving picture reproducing device, and a terminal with a moving picture reproduction request function and an operating method thereof are provided to reproduce a moving picture frame of a part corresponding to a page when a page is changed by matching moving picture content with a book, thereby providing new reading book experiences by connecting the story of book reading with the story of moving picture watching. CONSTITUTION: A content providing device(10) provides book information and moving picture frame matching data. A camera(20) photographs a book and generates a book image. A moving picture reproducing device(30) downloads the book information and the moving picture frame matching data from the content providing device to check a page in a book image generated based on the book information. The moving picture reproducing device reproduces moving picture frame matched with the page based on the moving picture frame matching data.
