IMPURITY REMOVAL DEVICE, FUEL REFORMING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME, DRIVING METHOD THEREOF, AND FUEL CELL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impurity removal device capable of stable driving over a long period of time by suppressing the functional deterioration of a catalyst when fuel including oxygen, an aromatic compound and a sulfur compound is reformed.

SOLUTION: The impurity removal device 10 includes: a first catalyst 1 for removing oxygen contained in the fuel by oxidation reaction; a second catalyst 2 for converting the aromatic compound contained in the fuel into saturated hydrocarbon by hydrogenation reaction, a third catalyst 3 for converting the sulfur compound contained in the fuel into hydrogen sulfide by hydrogenation reaction; and a fourth catalyst 4 for removing hydrogen sulfide produced by the third catalyst.
