<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow exact confirmation of difference between an interdigitation state and a half insertion state by enabling a user to exactly and surely visually recognize an engagement state and the interdigitation state between one connector part and an optical adapter. <P>SOLUTION: A display window is formed so as to face a position where an insertion-side front end part of a housing is to be located in the engagement state between a connector part for an optical fiber and an optical adapter. A housing outer surface is partially displayed or not displayed at all in a part of the display window before the connector part for an optical fiber and the optical adapter are engaged with each other and the housing and a rear knob are engaged with each other.
