<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system for photovoltaic power generation that can detect a fault of a solar cell panel, and can be simply applied to a variety of photovoltaic power generation systems from a system for a general home to a system in a large scale power plant. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring system for a photovoltaic power generation system in which output from a plurality of solar cell panels 1-3 is aggregated and transmitted to an electric power conversion device 11 is provided with measuring devices 5-7 in a connection box 4, to which output electrical paths from the plurality of solar cell panels 1-3 are converged, to measure the power generation amount of each of the solar cell panels 1-3. In addition, the monitoring system transmits measured data by means of electric power line communication between PLC modems 8-10 in slave units connected to the measuring devices 5-7 and a PLC modem 15 in a master unit inductively coupled to an electrical path at the side of the electric power conversion device 11. The problem of magnetic saturation of inductive coupling due to direct current is eliminated by waiting transmission of the measured data until the time when the power generation amount becomes low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
