摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a wrong instruction for manual forced regeneration by estimating a particulate matter deposition amount with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A particulate matter (PM) deposition amount estimation device includes: a differential pressure deposition amount calculation unit 41 which, on the basis of the differential pressure of a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) 22 and an exhaust gas flow rate, calculates the differential pressure deposition amount of PM deposited on the DPF 22; a model deposition amount calculation unit 42 which, using a model for subtracting the amount of PM burned in the DPF 22 from the amount of PM in exhaust gas input to the DPF 22, calculates the model deposition amount of PM deposited on the DPF 22; a differential pressure deposition amount time-rate-of-change calculation unit 43 which calculates the time rate of change of the differential pressure deposition amount; and a PM deposition amount calculation unit 44 which, when, with the sum of a first coefficient and a second coefficient as a constant value, multiplying the differential pressure deposition amount by the first coefficient, multiplying the model deposition amount by the second coefficient, and calculating, as a PM deposition amount, an additional value each of the multiplied values, sets the value of the first coefficient to be larger than the value of the second coefficient if the exhaust gas flow rate exceeds a predetermined amount, and sets the first coefficient to be smaller if the exhaust gas flow rate exceeds the predetermined value and the temporal change rate of the differential pressure deposition amount is a predetermined threshold value or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
