PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexing holographic recording/reproducing device capable of increasing the number of multiplexed recordings significantly without increase in the number of parts or complication of a device configuration, thereby a recording density and a recording capacity can increase significantly.SOLUTION: A multiplexing holographic recording/reproducing device comprises: rotational movement means 103 for rotating a holographic recording medium 101 around a rotational axis 102; linear movement means 104 for supporting the rotational movement means 103 and for moving a recording/reproducing process position 105 on the holographic recording medium 101 relatively linearly; movement control means 107 for controlling the movement of the recording/reproducing process position 105 by using the linear movement means 104 so that the recording/reproducing process position 105 moves on the holographic recording medium 101 relatively linearly between two areas, A area and B area, on the holographic recording medium 101 divided by a reference line 106 passing through the rotational axis 102 of the holographic recording medium 101 and normal to a linear movement direction of the holographic recording medium 101. |
