PURPOSE: A heat insulating casing for a pipe and a construction method thereof are provided to secure the connection portion of two heat insulating casings even through the vibration and the impact of pipes by using coupling protrusions. CONSTITUTION: A heat insulating casing for a pipe comprises a body, a female joint(2), a male joint(3), first and second coupling protrusions, and a side cut portion(6). An oblique portion(7) is formed on the body. The female joint is bent in an S-shape. The male joint is inserted into the female joint and bent in an L shape. The first and the second coupling protrusions are extended radially and projected respectively. The side cut portion is formed on the female and the male joints and cut in predetermined length and width.
