<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lighting device that can reduce the driver distraction caused by light reflecting objects. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle lighting device controls light distribution of a head lamp so as not to cast a glare relative to other vehicles in front of a host vehicle. The vehicle lighting device includes: a light reflecting object detecting means for detecting the light reflecting objects that are other light reflecting objects than the other vehicles in front of the host vehicle and extend or move along a longitudinal direction of a road; and a control means for suppressing a change in light distribution pattern in the light distribution control of the head lamp or switching a high-beam to a low-beam when the light reflecting object detecting means detects the light reflecting objects. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
