<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nitrogen-rich duplex stainless steel that has corrosion resistance equal to that of general-purpose duplex stainless steel and is suppressed in the deterioration of corrosion resistance in a weld heat-affected zone. <P>SOLUTION: In duplex stainless steel having excellent corrosion resistance in a weld heat-affected zone, an austenite phase area ratio is 40-70%, a PI value is 30-38 expressed by the following equation (1): PI=Cr+3.3Mo+16N, an NI value is 100-140 expressed by the following equation (2): NI=(Cr+Mo)/N, and a γpre is 1,350-1,450 expressed by the following equation (3): γpre=-15Cr-28Si-12Mo+19Ni+4Mn+19Cu+770N+1,160C+1,475. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
