<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field network system in which a PLC and an I/O input/output unit are connected through a field network and energy conservation is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: A field network system 100 of the present invention includes: a PLC 1; and an I/O input/output unit 2 connected to the PLC 1 through a field network 11 and to which field equipment 4 is connected.
