<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing, having a weight of a rotor reduced as much as possible while maintaining the strength of a reinforcing member for reinforcing the arm part of the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor 3 of the spinning reel for the fishing includes the reinforcing member 10 bridging a pair of arm parts 3b. The reinforcing member 10 is molded out of a fiber-reinforced resin obtained by impregnating short fibers having an averaged fiber diameter of 4-7 μm and an averaged fiber length of 1.5-4.0 mm within a range of 30-60 mass%, with a matrix resin. The reinforcing member 10 has a cross section structure in the cross section perpendicular to the extended direction in any region, which is composed of a first layer, formed at the surface side, in which the proportion of the short fibers having nearly circular shapes having the minor to major axis ratio of from 1:1 to 1:1.155 is higher, and a second layer formed at the inner side thereof and containing a proportion of the randomly arranged short fibers higher than that of the short fibers in the first layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
