The wind turbine (1) has a tower (4) and rotor blades (2). Several distance measuring devices (5) are arranged in circumference of tower and connected in series as a daisy-chain for monitoring the distance between the rotor blades and the tower. The distance meter performs a propagation time measurement, in particular a time of flight measurement of an optical signal. An independent claim is included for method for measuring distance between rotor blades and tower. |
