<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize replacement of a part of pages in a stored document without any load on a user. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a reading part for reading a manuscript to obtain image data; and a printing part for printing image data obtained by the reading part or image data based on print data received via a network. The apparatus is provided with identification information adding means for adding to image data based on a request from an information processing apparatus identification information capable of specifying, when a manuscript is read, on which page in image data stored in the apparatus the read manuscript is; storage means for storing the image data to which the identification information is added; specifying means for analyzing, when the manuscript is read, the identification information added to the manuscript to specify on which page in the stored image data the manuscript is; and replacement means for replacing the page corresponding to the manuscript in the stored image data with image data of the manuscript. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
