<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove decay heat generated in a core of a nuclear reactor in the case that a trip of an electric power generation circuit occurs in a nuclear power plant having a closed loop electric power generation circuit including a nuclear reactor. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor core conditioning system 100 is subjected to fluid communication to be connected to a nuclear reactor. Coolant is circulated between the nuclear reactor and the reactor core conditioning system 100. The reactor core conditioning system 100 includes at least one recuperator 106 and a second heat exchanger 112. The recuperator 106 has a high temperature side having an inlet 108.1 and an outlet 108.2 and a low temperature side having an inlet 110.110.2 and an outlet. The high temperature side inlet is subjected to fluid communication with an outlet of the nuclear reactor. The low temperature side outlet is subjected to fluid communication with an inlet of the nuclear reactor. In addition, the second heat exchanger 112 is connected to the recuperator 106 in the middle between the high temperature side outlet and the low temperature side inlet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
