The invention relates to a single-winged vacuum pump provided with a pot-shaped housing (12), a rotor (18) which is mounted in a rotational and eccentric manner in the housing, and a wing which is displacably mounted in the rotor and which is orthogonal on the rotational axis (21), whereby the points of the wing (34) are placed on a peripheral surface (32) which defines a work chamber. The invention is characterised in that one part of the peripheral surface (32) is formed by an insert and the rotor (18) touches the insert.
