<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust recording power with high accuracy based on a measured β value and a target β value. <P>SOLUTION: A system controller 32 of an optical disk device calculates β values such that jitter or error rate becomes minimum at an inner peripheral portion and an outer peripheral portion of an optical disk, and calculates respective difference values with a target β value. The system controller 32 calculates a correction value at an arbitral position, speed, and temperature by linear interpolation using the difference value at the inner peripheral portion and the difference value at the outer peripheral portion, and adjusts recording power by correcting a measured β value at the arbitral position, speed, and temperature and comparing the measured β value with the target β value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
