PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that when the contact pressure of a cleaning blade to a photoreceptor increases, chattering is induced by repeated sticking and slipping of the blade on the outermost surface of the photoreceptor, so-called a stick-slip phenomenon, which might result in a high risk of generating abnormal sound or slipping of a toner to induce cleaning failure and stripe image defects, that so-called a filming phenomenon might occur, in which a toner component adheres to the photoreceptor surface by the pressure of the blade and is hardly removed, resulting in a high risk of continuous image defects, and that scratches are induced in a circumferential direction of the photoreceptor by rotation of the photoreceptor to which a toner is firmly pressed, which easily induces image defects.
SOLUTION: The outermost surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a specified charge transporting material and a binder resin having a copolymer component having a specified structure.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
