<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform intuitively and easily an input operation relating to a trapezoidal distortion correction for a projection image. <P>SOLUTION: In a projector 10 that includes a touch panel 47 having an input area 48 sectioned into a plurality of areas 48A to 48D and is used for projecting a projection image 201 with a vertex-having shape onto a screen SC, at least one of the areas 48A to 48D of the input area 48 of the touch panel 47 are associated with one of the vertices of the projection image 201. When an operation is performed in the input area 48 of the touch panel 47, the vertex of the projection image 201, corresponding to the operated area 48A, is selected as a movement target.
