<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing alkylsulfonyl carbamate at a reaction rate higher than that of the conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing alkylsulfonyl carbamate includes a process of generating alkylsulfonyl carbamate represented by formula (3) by making alkylsulfonamide represented by formula (1) and alkyl halocarbonate ester represented by formula (2) react with each other in the reaction liquid containing a hydrophilic organic solvent, alkali metal carbonate, and water. In formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>shows 1-4C alkyl group. In formula (2), X shows a halogen atom, and R2 shows 1-4C alkyl group.
