摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress as further as possible a target component from being mixed with another component of which the retention time is closer to that of the target component, when fractionating the target component. <P>SOLUTION: In a data processing unit, after a starting point of a peak of a target component is detected on a chromatogram on the basis of a retention time, a fraction control signal is caused to rise at a time point t3 when a strength of a peak (m/z=M) of the target component exceeds a threshold value L(m/z) on a mass spectrum. Thereafter, at an earlier time point of either a time point t4 when the strength of the peak of the target component becomes lower than the threshold value L(m/z) on the mass spectrum or a time point t2 when an ending point of the peak of the target component is detected on the chromatogram, the fraction control signal is caused to fall. During a period of time when the fraction control signal is high level, a fraction collector fractions/fractionates an eluent. Thus, even if the peak of the target component is present on the chromatogram, in the case where there are much components other than the target component, the target component is not fractionated, thereby efficiently fractionating the target component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
