<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a packet not arrived at a terminal actually is charged erroneously, when a packet either the number of packets and/or the number of bytes of which has already been charged by a gateway is discarded in a base station and has not arrived at the terminal. <P>SOLUTION: Information of a packet discarded in a base station and not arrived at a terminal is notified from the base station to a gateway. In particular, when the gateway transmits the same packet to a plurality of base stations, the gateway compares the discard notifications from respective base stations, and only a packet discarded in all base stations is not charged. Consequently, even when the gateway transmits the same packet to a plurality of base stations, the gateway can count only the packets, actually arrived at a terminal, to be charged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
