<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct conveyance deviation of a recording medium to improve image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a drive roller 10 for a recording medium P; a steering part 20 including a varying mechanism of a conveyance direction of the recording medium P; a head part 30 for applying a functional liquid to the recording medium P between the drive roller 10 and the steering part 20; a recording medium conveyance part 35 between the head part 30 and the steering part 20; a first detection part 41 for detecting a first conveyance deviation amount with respect to a first reference point of the recording medium P conveyed through the steering part 20 between the steering part 20 and the recording medium transport part 35; a second detection part 42 for detecting a second conveyance deviation amount with respect to a second reference point of the recording medium P conveyed through the recording medium conveyance part 35 between the recording medium transport part 35 and the head part 30; and a control part 50; wherein the position of the first reference point is changed based on the first conveyance deviation amount and the second conveyance amount, and the steering part 20 is controlled based on the first conveyance deviation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
