<p>Provided is a heat medium heating device comprising the following: a plurality of flat heat exchanger tubes (12); PTC heaters (13) incorporated between flat tube parts (12A); a heat exchanger pressing member (15) that presses from one side the flat tubes (12) and the PTC heaters (13) against the inner surface of a casing (11), thereby securing the flat tubes (12) and the PTC heaters (13); and a control substrate (17) that is disposed above the heat exchanger pressing member (15) and that controls the PTC heaters (13). A terminal (24A) extending upwards from an electrode plate (24) directly connects to a terminal block (17B) of the control substrate (17) and thereby electrically hard wires the PTC heaters (13) and the control substrate (17). By providing, on an inner surface of the casing (11), a positioning means (28) that couples with the terminal (24A) and thereby positions the terminal (24A) and the electrode plate (24), the thermal contact resistance between the flat heat exchanger tubes and the PTC heaters is reduced, enabling heat transfer efficiency to be improved and the heat medium heating device to be miniaturized and given high performance, and enabling facilitation and simplification of the electrical connection between the PTC heater and the control substrate as well as enabling improvement of the securability and assemblability of the insulation distance between the electrodes.</p> |
