PURPOSE: An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) device is provided to prevent the air from flowing in due to an inorganic insulating film by connecting sealing materials to a substrate for surrounding the outside of an OLED element. CONSTITUTION: A pair of substrates(110,150) successively laminates organic insulating films(111,151) and inorganic insulating films(112,152). The substrates include a surface facing each other. An OLED element is formed on one of the substrates. A sealing material seals the OLED element. The sealing material is made of frit.
