PURPOSE: A washing method and a laundry machine thereof are provided to efficiently measure a leveling degree of the laundry machine by measuring a load applied to a leg of the laundry machine. CONSTITUTION: A leveling mode is inputted after a laundry machine is installed(S410). When the leveling mode is inputted, a laundry insertion command is displayed on a display unit of a control panel(S420). A starting command is inputted after laundry is inserted(S430). The drum is rotated at a fixed speed according to the starting command(S440). A static load is measured for a fixed time after the drum is stopped(S450).
