PURPOSE: 40MM practice ammunition for marking an impact spot of a grenade launcher is provided to increase ignition power as a contact section between a fuse and an ignition agent increases. CONSTITUTION: 40MM practice ammunition for marking an impact spot of a grenade launcher comprises an empty shell assembly and a warhead assembly(200). The empty shell assembly comprises an empty shell and a percussion cap. The empty shell comprises a warhead mounting part and a percussion cap mounting part. The percussion cap is mounted to percussion cap mounting part through a cap housing. The warhead assembly comprises a skirt(210), a safety device, a smokescreen tube assembly, and an ogive. The skirt inserts a warhead into an opening of the empty shell. A detonator(223) of the safety device is installed in the skirt. A smokescreen tube(231) is screwed with the skirt, and the ogive is connected.
