PURPOSE: A method for separating a graphene thin film is provided to easily separate the graphene thin film without etching liquid by using a physical method. CONSTITUTION: A method for separating a graphene thin film includes the following: a substrate(100) is prepared; A magnetic catalytic layer(120) is formed on the substrate; a graphene thin film layer(140) is formed on the magnetic catalytic layer; a magnetic field applying unit(200) is positioned on the graphene thin film layer; a magnetic field is applied to separate the magnetic catalytic layer from the substrate; and the graphene thin film layer is separated from the magnetic catalytic layer.
