The device has a motorized drum (2) and a pulley (3) wound with a cable (1) for a loop path, where a part (4) of the cable is elastically deformable. A holding region (6A) holds a portion of the cable during transmission of the cable along the loop path in a direction (D1). The motorized drum is placed in front of the holding region for retaining the cable in the direction of movement of the cable such that the elastically deformable part of the cable is extended during the movement of the cable along the loop path.
