A pyrene derivative represented by the following formula (1); wherein R1 to R10 are independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group or a group represented by the following formula (2), at least one of R1 to R10 is a group represented by the following formula (2) and at least two of R1 to R10 are substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. Provided that in the case where only one of R1 to R10 is a group represented by the following formula (2), at least one of the substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups is an aryl group having 10 to 50 carbon atoms.
