A gas chamber (21) is filled with compressed gas i.e. air, and connected with a gas storage (30) i.e. hollow container. A hydraulic motor (31) is connected in direct fluid communication with the working chamber, for conveying the fluid to the working chamber or from the working chamber. A heat exchanger (24) i.e. open cell metal foam, is arranged in the working chamber, for transferring heat from the gas to the fluid and from the fluid to the gas.
