<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately measure a distance between a coater head and a coated body coated with liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The coater head 11 includes at least one inside space part 21 facing a holding part 2 and having a second opening 20 located flush with a first opening 12. A distance measuring instrument 22 emits laser beams through the inside space part 21 with the coated body 3 or the holding part 2 and a shielding body 23a provided in a position 20 of the second opening to reflect the laser beams, as measuring positions to measure simultaneously or separately a first distance D1 which is a distance between the coated body 3 or the holding part 2 and the distance measuring instrument 22, and a second distance D2 which is a distance between the shielding body 23a and the distance measuring instrument 22. A distance calculator 22 calculates a third distance D3 which is a distance between the first opening 12 of the coater head 11 and the coated body 3 or the holding part 2 based on a difference between the first distance D1 and the second distance D2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
