<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable high-voltage output even if a plurality of piezoelectric transformers are adjacently installed. <P>SOLUTION: The high voltage power supply device includes a plurality of piezoelectric transformers in which primary electrodes and secondary electrodes are formed in piezoelectric ceramics, a primary voltage is supplied to the primary electrode and a secondary voltage is generated from the secondary electrode. The device includes: a plurality of switching elements driving the respective piezoelectric transformers and primary voltage supply means driving the respective switching elements and supplying the primary voltage to the respective primary electrodes of the plurality of piezoelectric transformers when the secondary voltage is generated from the secondary electrode of the piezoelectric transformer.
