<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal direction radiation antenna with a small size, in which leakage of electric power can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: In a horizontal direction radiation antenna, a back surface side ground conductor plate 3 is provided on a back surface 2B of a substrate 2. A radiation element 4 connected to a coplanar line 5, and a passive element 7 located at an edge portion 2C side away from the radiation element 4 are provided on a front surface 2A of the substrate 2. A front surface side ground conductor plate 8 is provided on the front surface 2A of the substrate 2. A notch 8A having an opening at the edge portion 2C side is provided in the front surface side ground conductor plate 8. A U-shaped frame section 9 surrounding the radiation element 4 and the passive element 7 is provided around the notch 8A. The U-shaped frame section 9 is electrically connected to the back surface side ground conductor plate 3 using a plurality of vias 10, and a conductive wall surface 11 is formed by the plurality of vias 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
